JOSH VANDEVER FOR FAYETTE COUNTY JUDGE
Hi, I'm Josh Vandever

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Josh and his wife, Kristen, live in Mullins Prairie with their daughter, Haley, and son, Mason. Josh was born at Fayette Memorial Hospital in La Grange. When he was around four years old, his family moved to Brenham. He graduated from high school in Brenham and attended Blinn College’s EMS program. While earning his Paramedic certification, he returned to Fayette County to work with EMS. Josh was employed by Fayette County from 2010 to 2016.
In 2016, Josh married Kristen and accepted a position as a firefighter and paramedic in the Houston area. He returned to Fayette County in 2020 when he was hired by then-County Judge Joe Weber as the EMS Director. Josh is a graduate of Blinn College and Sam Houston State University. He is currently enrolled in the Master of Public Service and Administration program at Texas A&M’s Bush School of Public Service and Administration.
Josh and his family are members of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn.
